Home for the mentally insane: Fred makes a come back

Anyone who went to high school with me remembers the Fred and Baldy comics. Fred was a school legend, every one knew who he was. He was more popular than me.
In my homeroom he won class representative and a picture of him still hangs in the classroom.

When I graduated and moved to college Fred kind of got lost. He and Baldy took a nice almost two year vacation from the comic biz only to be remembered by two paintings over my bed of Baldy and Swish( Baldy's curly haired wife), and the cover of the series hanging in my kitchen (Featuring Fred at his best strait jacket and all).

The point of all this is I was assigned a project. Which I was completely blank on. I had the cartoonist blues. No ideas. .
When a friend of mine asked me the story behind the strange characters that make small cameos around my apartment. So Fred became the basis for my project.
We are following Aspect to Aspect, a concept mentioned in Scott Mclouds' "Understanding Comics".
We had to depict a room without showing any development of time.
This one does not feature Baldy, but I'm enjoying the return of my favorite character to work with and I think possibly I will be doing more with him in the future. Enjoy the new reinvented Fred ( with much better artwork these days).
